Bill Berk Enlisted Army 1966-71. Delayed enlistment in order to go to dental school. Active duty 1970-71. Filed CO application prior to active duty. While on active duty at Fort Bragg involved with Concerned Officers Movement and Bragg Briefs, GI underground newspaper. Helped organize FTA show (alternative USO tour) at Fort Bragg. Filed successful lawsuit against the Army for discharge related to CO application. Released from active duty after serving only six months. Currently a dentist in the San Francisco Bay area.
